On Saturday, 17 May 2025, in the evening at 21:01, in Klaipėda, on Mechanizacijos street near No. 24, an Opel Astra registered in Ukraine hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 47-year-old driver of the Opel (10 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (2.74‰ blood alcohol).
