On Sunday, 18 May 2025, at night at 0:40, in Kaunas, on Jonavos street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW 323 and a MAN. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
