On Friday, 23 May 2025, in the afternoon at 16:20, in Kauno district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 122.90), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW 5ER Reihe, a Peugeot 308, an Audi A6, a Peugeot and a Toyota. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the BMW (12 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. All drivers were sober.
