On Sunday, 25 May 2025, in the morning at 9:10, in Šakių district municipality, Totorviečių village, on Alyvų street, a Toyota Avensis hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 43-year-old driver of the Toyota, who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (2.46‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene.
