On Friday, 6 June 2025, in the afternoon at 11:40, in Vilnius, on Pylimo street near No. 19, a BMW hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 69-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the BMW (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. He had no driving licence. The driver was sober.
