On Saturday, 7 June 2025, in the evening at 17:26, in Vilnius, on Fizikų street near No. 8, a BMW hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 45-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 32-year-old driver of the BMW (15 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. The driver was sober.
