On Saturday, 21 June 2025, in the afternoon at 13:05, in Kalvarijos municipality, on the Kaunas–Marijampolė–Suvalkai main road (kilometre 87.25), a collision with a motorcycle occurred. The accident was caused by the 41-year-old driver of the BMW (21 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (0.09‰ blood alcohol).
