On Monday, 23 June 2025, in the evening at 20:25, in Druskininkų municipality, Grūto village, on the Vilnius–Varėna–Gardinas main road (kilometre 122), an Opel Zafira hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 67-year-old driver of the Opel (43 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. The driver was sober.
