On Tuesday, 24 June 2025, in the morning at around 8:00, in Pasvalio district municipality, Valakėlių village, on Piliakalnio street near No. 17, an Audi A6 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 49-year-old driver of the Audi (19 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.46‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
