On Thursday, 26 June 2025, in the evening at around 18:00, in Kaunas, on Ašigalio street near No. 55, a collision occurred. The collision involved a Toyota Corolla and an Audi A4 Avant. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Toyota (5 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
