On Saturday, 28 June 2025, in the morning at 6:31, in Ukmergės district municipality, on the Vilnius–Panevėžys (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 89), a Mercedes-Benz Actros ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 62-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz (30 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (2.06‰ blood alcohol). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 130 km/h.
