On Sunday, 6 July 2025, in the evening at 20:19, in Kaunas, on Vakarinis aplinkl. street, at the junction with Vijūkų street, a KIA Motors registered in France ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 41-year-old driver of the KIA Motors (23 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (2.40‰ blood alcohol). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
