On Thursday, 10 July 2025, in the morning at 7:20, in Kauno district municipality, on the Kaunas–Marijampolė–Suvalkai (kelio ruožo su skir. juosta k. pusė) main road (kilometre 5.60), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Toyota Yaris, a Schmitz registered in Latvia, a Mercedes-Benz Actros 1844 registered in Latvia and a Renault Megane. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 23-year-old driver of the Toyota (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. All drivers were sober.
