On Wednesday, 9 July 2025, in the evening at 18:50, in Širvintų district municipality, Zibalų town, on Širvintų street near No. 23, a Renault Megane hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 53-year-old driver of the Renault, who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (3.22‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene.
