On Monday, 14 July 2025, in the morning at 7:05, in Raseinių district municipality, Ilgižiukų village, on the Betygala–Ilgižiai–Krakės–Bokštai regional road (kilometre 11.13), an Opel Astra ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 48-year-old driver of the Opel, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.75‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
