On Sunday, 6 July 2025, at night at around 23:00, in Kaunas, on J. Žemgulio street near No. 5, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Toyota Prius and a BMW. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 67-year-old driver of the Toyota (20 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
