On Friday, 25 July 2025, in the evening at around 21:00, in Kaunas, on Birželio 23-iosios street near No. 27A, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a moped and a BMW. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 16-year-old driver of a moped, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
