On Saturday, 26 July 2025, in the morning at around 9:00, in Kauno district municipality, Padauguvos village, on Beržų street, an Audi ran off the road. Two people were injured — a 24-year-old passenger of the Audi (treated as an outpatient, was not wearing a seatbelt) and a 8-year-old passenger of the Audi (treated as an outpatient, was not wearing a seatbelt). The accident was caused by the 53-year-old driver of the Audi, who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk and had no driving licence.
