On Monday, 28 July 2025, in the afternoon at around 12:00, in Šilutės district municipality, Sakūtėlių village, on Klaipėdos street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Audi Q5, a BMW, a BMW, a BMW 3ER Reihe registered in Estonia and a Hyundai. One person was injured — the 18-year-old driver of the BMW (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 32-year-old driver of the Audi (13 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. All drivers were sober.
