On Tuesday, 29 July 2025, in the evening at 18:32, in Kauno district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 119.10), a Tesla Motors ran off the road. One person was injured — a 38-year-old passenger of the Tesla Motors (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 51-year-old driver of the Tesla Motors (30 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
