On Sunday, 3 August 2025, at night at 4:21, in Kupiškio district municipality, on P. Matulionio street near No. 40, a BMW 530 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the BMW (3 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene. The driver was sober.
