On Saturday, 2 August 2025, in the morning at around 5:00, in Klaipėda, on Liubeko street near No. 1, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Alfa Romeo 159 and a BMW. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 40-year-old driver of the Alfa Romeo, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
