On Saturday, 16 August 2025, in the morning at 7:20, in Palanga, on J. Basanavičiaus street near No. 56, a vehicle hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 64-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 23-year-old driver of a vehicle, who committed other traffic rule violations.
