On Saturday, 16 August 2025, in the evening at around 19:00, in Druskininkų municipality, on M. K. Čiurlionio street near No. 88, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Iveco and a Nissan Qashqai. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 28-year-old driver of the Iveco (9 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
