On Sunday, 17 August 2025, in the afternoon at 15:10, in Kaunas, on Taikos pr. near No. 2, at the junction with Savanorių pr., a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Mercedes-Benz Vito and a car. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 33-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz, who failed to give way when changing direction. He was drunk (2.12‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence.
