On Sunday, 17 August 2025, in the afternoon at around 16:00, in Pakruojo district municipality, Šukionių village, on Jono Noreikos street near No. 24, a collision with a motorcycle occurred. The collision involved a MTZ Belarus-82 and a motorcycle. One person was injured — the 31-year-old driver of a motorcycle (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 52-year-old driver of the MTZ (31 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
