On Friday, 22 August 2025, in the evening at 22:13, in Telšių district municipality, Gaudikaičių village, on the Šiauliai–Palanga main road (kilometre 68.30), a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved an Audi A6, a Scania, a Subaru Forester and a trailer/semi-trailer > 10 t. Two people were injured — the 32-year-old driver of the Audi (treated as an outpatient) and the 42-year-old driver of the Subaru (hospitalized).
