On Saturday, 30 August 2025, at night at around 1:00, in Joniškio district municipality, Žiurių village, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Peugeot 307 and an Audi A4. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 17-year-old driver of the Peugeot, who committed other traffic rule violations.
