On Friday, 5 September 2025, in the evening at around 17:00, in Kauno city municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 100), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a vehicle, a Mercedes-Benz Actros and a Krone -. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene.
