On Thursday, 2 October 2025, in the afternoon at around 15:00, in Marijampolės municipality, on Palangos street, at the junction with Slėnio street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW and a e-scooter. One person was injured — the 15-year-old driver of a e-scooter (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 32-year-old driver of the BMW (10 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober.
