On Sunday, 5 October 2025, in the evening at 21:48, in Kauno district municipality, Šlienavos village, on Jono Biliūno street near No. 124, a BMW hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the BMW (less than a year of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. A 44-year-old passenger of the BMW was drunk. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
