On Tuesday, 7 October 2025, in the morning at 8:15, in Kelmės district municipality, on the Raseiniai–Tytuvėnai–Radviliškis national road (kilometre 33.13), a Volkswagen Passat ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who entered the oncoming traffic lane. He had no driving licence and fled the scene.
