On Thursday, 9 October 2025, in the afternoon at around 16:00, in Kaunas, on Savanorių pr. near No. 220, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Golf and a Skoda Octavia. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 71-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (20 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
