On Monday, 13 October 2025, in the afternoon at 16:50, in Pasvalio district municipality, on the Biržai–Pasvaliečiai–Saločiai regional road (kilometre 19.20), an Opel Meriva registered in Latvia ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 61-year-old driver of the Opel (35 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
