On Tuesday, 14 October 2025, in the afternoon at around 13:00, in Vilnius, on Tuskulėnų street near No. 66, a BMW X5 hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. Two people were injured — a 74-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient) and a 73-year-old pedestrian (severely injured, hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 49-year-old driver of the BMW (31 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
