On Tuesday, 14 October 2025, in the afternoon at 16:35, in Rokiškio district municipality, Trumpiškio village, on the Rokiškis–Maineivos–Naujasodė regional road (kilometre 20.30), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Golf and an Audi A6. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who entered the oncoming traffic lane. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
