On Wednesday, 15 October 2025, in the afternoon at around 14:00, in Panevėžys, on A. Jakšto street near No. 1, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the Scania (14 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (0.30‰ blood alcohol). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
