On Friday, 17 October 2025, in the evening at 22:40, in Elektrėnų municipality, Alksnos village, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 27.86), a Fiat 500 hit an animal. One person was injured — the 29-year-old driver of a BMW 320D (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 33-year-old driver of the Fiat (10 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. Both drivers were sober.
