On Saturday, 25 October 2025, in the morning at around 5:00, in Vilnius, on Helsinkio street near No. 10, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Toyota Prius and a Mini Cooper registered in Belarus. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 28-year-old driver of the Toyota (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, it was raining, the road surface was wet.
