On Saturday, 25 October 2025, in the evening at 18:45, in Birštono municipality, on the Vilnius–Prienai–Marijampolė main road (kilometre 91), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Seat and a Volvo XC60. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the Seat, who violated overtaking rules.
