On Sunday, 26 October 2025, in the afternoon at 12:24, in Vilniaus district municipality, on the Nemenčinė–Buivydžiai regional road (kilometre 14.10), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Mitsubishi Carisma and a Toyota Yaris. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi, who failed to comply with road signs or markings. He was drunk (1.78‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. A 25-year-old passenger of the Mitsubishi was drunk (2.21‰). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
