On Wednesday, 29 October 2025, in the evening at 17:30, in Šiauliai, on Gardino street near No. 2, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Volvo FH, a Schmitz and a Citroen C4 Picasso. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 54-year-old driver of the Volvo (38 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
