On Thursday, 30 October 2025, in the evening at around 17:00, in Šiauliai, on Serbentų street, at the junction with Dubijos street, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Opel Astra and a Ford Transit. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 89-year-old driver of the Opel (50 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
