On Friday, 31 October 2025, in the afternoon at 14:30, in Jonavos district municipality, on the Kaunas–Zarasai–Daugpilis main road (kilometre 20.83), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Opel Meriva and a Citroen Xsara Picasso. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 62-year-old driver of the Opel (27 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. Both drivers were sober.
