On Saturday, 1 November 2025, in the afternoon at 14:30, in Raseinių district municipality, Putrių village, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 147), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The accident was caused by the 72-year-old driver of the Lexus (39 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
