On Friday, 14 November 2025, in the afternoon at 15:20, in Kaišiadorių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 74.53), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW 3er Reihe, a DAF, a Schmitz, a Skoda Octavia, a Volvo and a Toyota. Two people were injured — the 18-year-old driver of the BMW (treated as an outpatient) and a 17-year-old passenger of the BMW (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of the BMW (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. All drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 130 km/h.
