Unlicensed BMW driver hits a parked Mazda and flees on Laisvės g., Krekenavos town
On Friday, 21 November 2025, in the afternoon at 11:11, in Panevėžio district municipality, Krekenavos town, on Laisvės street, at the junction with Tilto street, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a BMW 3ER Reihe and a Mazda 5. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 55-year-old driver of the BMW, who entered the oncoming traffic lane. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
