On Friday, 21 November 2025, in the evening at 17:06, in Trakų district municipality, on the Vilnius–Prienai–Marijampolė (kelio ruožo su skir. juosta k. pusė) main road (kilometre 24.40), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW Serie 5, an Audi A4 and a Citroen Berlingo. One person was injured — the 61-year-old driver of the Audi (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the BMW (10 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. All drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, it was overcast, the road surface was wet.
