On Wednesday, 26 November 2025, in the morning at around 10:00, in Trakų district municipality, on the Vilnius–Prienai–Marijampolė main road (kilometre 52.30), a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a Scania, a Toyota RAV4, a Schmitz Cargobull and a Volvo XC70. One person was injured — the 41-year-old driver of the Toyota (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 51-year-old driver of the Scania (25 years of driving experience), who entered the oncoming traffic lane. All drivers were sober.
