On Wednesday, 3 December 2025, in the afternoon at 16:50, in Kauno district municipality, Radikių village, on Šėta-Žeimiai-vilijampolė, at the junction with Stovyklavietės street, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a BMW, a Renault, a Peugeot 307, a Volkswagen Transporter and a Mercedes-Benz. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 48-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. All drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, there was fog, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
